Where your files live
Your live site is on your hosting. Work in progress is in your Studio's workspace, and logins live in Connections. How to see each one.

Where are my site's files, and can I get a copy?
It depends which files you mean. Your published site lives on your own hosting, so you can download it any time with your host's file manager, FTP or SSH, and it stays there if you cancel. Work in progress lives in your Studio's workspace, one folder per project, and you can read it in the Computer's Files tab. As of October 2026 the Studio has no download-everything button, so your hosting copy is the one to keep.

The Files tab
Open the Computer, then its Files tab. You start at Workspace. Click a folder to open it and the up arrow to go back. Click a file to read it.
Each project has a private folder of notes, drafts and research. The publish guard never uploads it. See what Deployment checks.
Each project also keeps a saved version every time a card finishes, inside your Studio, so the crew can bring back an earlier version when you ask. See undo a change.
Files you send
Attach files to a message to Lenexa: photos, a logo, a price list, a WordPress export. Each file can be up to 100 MB. The crew finds them in your workspace's uploads. Files attached to messages in the chat have a Download link.
Keeping a copy
- The live site. Your hosting copy is yours. Download it with your host's tools whenever you like.
- Something in progress. Ask Lenexa to have it published to a folder on your hosting. Then it's in your hosting copy too.
- Before you cancel. Anything you want from the workspace, have it published to your hosting before your plan ends. See cancel your plan.
