Watching the Computer
The Computer shows the crew's screen live. How to open it, the two computers, how to take over to sign in, and the Files tab.

What is the Computer, and do I need to use it?
It depends on the job. Most of the time you don't need it: it's a live view of the screen the crew works on, there for when you're curious. You do need it when a card says someone needs you on the Computer, for example to sign in to a site or confirm something only you should. Then you take over the screen, do that one thing, and hand it back. Hosting logins are different: those go in the secure login card.

Open it
Press Computer at the top right of your Studio, or the Computer tab on the right-hand panel. The panel also has Preview and Board tabs, and Hide to close it.
The top line tells you what is happening, for example "Website Designer is driving · you're watching live", or that nobody is working there right now.

Switch between them with the picker at the top of the panel.
Take over when the crew needs you
Open the card
A card in the chat says, for example, "Website Designer needs you on the Computer", with Open the Computer.
Take over
The screen is view-only until you click it. Click to take control, then sign in or confirm what the card asks. Use Paste into computer to paste text from your own device.
Hand it back
When you're done, hand the screen back as the card asks. The crew carries on from there.

For hosting logins, use the secure login card
If the crew needs your hosting login, it asks for the secure login card instead, so the login is stored safely for Deployment. See connect your hosting.
The Files tab
Inside the Computer there is a Files tab. It shows your Studio's workspace, starting at Workspace, with a folder for each project. Click a file to read it. It is for looking, not editing. See where your files live.

Use Fullscreen for a bigger view and Copy to copy what is selected.
