The crew
Choosing AI models (Pro and Business)
On Pro and Business you can pick the AI model each crew member uses. Where the setting is, what the credit hints mean, and when to leave it.

Should I choose a different AI model for a crew member?
It depends on the work and your credits. Most people should leave every crew member on Lenexa's pick, which chooses a suitable model for each job. Choose a model yourself when you have a reason, such as a cheaper model for routine posts or a stronger one for a tricky design. Each choice shows a credit hint like "About half the credits". Model choice is on Pro and Business. On Starter, Lenexa picks for you.

Change a crew member's model
Find the crew member
In the left rail under Crew, hover over a crew member, or open their panel. You'll see a chip that says Model: and the current choice.
Open the menu
Click the chip. The menu is titled Model for and the crew member's name. More models shows the full list.
Pick one
Each option has a credit hint, such as Same credits, About half the credits or About 2x the credits. Pick one and you'll see a short note confirming the change.
To go back, choose Lenexa at the top of the menu ("Picks the right model for each job").
What the hints mean
The hint is a rough guide to how quickly a model uses credits for the same work. A model marked "About 2x the credits" uses your monthly credits about twice as fast.
On Starter
The menu shows the models with a lock and the note: "Choosing a model comes with Pro and Business. On Starter, Lenexa picks for you." To choose models, change your plan.
When to change it
- Routine work on a budget. A model marked "About half the credits" can suit a writer doing a weekly post.
- Work that keeps missing. If a specialist's results aren't landing after clear feedback, a stronger model may help.
- Otherwise, leave it. Lenexa's pick is the default for a reason.
The list of models changes as better ones arrive, so this guide doesn't name them. Your Studio always shows the current list.
